Public consultation

The Leyland Town Deal plans have been refined following an extensive public consultation in November 2021 to gather views about the projects proposed as part of the Leyland Town Deal.

Proposals for the scheme within the Town Deal include a Leyland Market upgrade, a new Business and Skills hub, town centre regeneration, new commercial premises and town centre living.

This consultation formed part of a series taking place to allow people to see the proposed designs, speak to the design team and share their views on which aspects should be prioritised as part of the investment.

The consultation events were be a mix of public drop-in sessions and specific sessions for invited businesses and interest groups.
