Proposed move of taxi rank on Hough Lane

South Ribble Borough Council proposes to relocate the existing taxi rank outside 44-48 Hough Lane (former Iceland) to a new location outside 61-65 Hough Lane. This will entail moving the taxi rank from the west-bound carriageway to the east-bound carriageway. This relocation is part of the public realm and highways improvements to Leyland town centre, part of the Leyland Town Deal project. The current rank will be revoked following the new rank becoming operational.
